David Ward is a filmmaker living in Austin, TX.  He is a director, editor and writer at Ralph Smyth Entertainment, and has done work for ESPN, Gaither Studios, Sweetwood Productions, The Active Health Network, PMvideo, Massify, and many others.

David was the driving force behind the sketch comedy group “The Beeftrain Incident.” Their sketches were featured on Yahoo, Ebaums, FunnyOrDie and many other online video sites. He is also considered the winning-est filmmaker on Comedy Central’s Atom.com Internet Comedy Tournament. His short film “Make a Wish” played at the 2010 Austin Film Festival. Most recently, he won “Best Editor” from The Doorpost Film Project for the short film “The Man Who Never Cried.” He performs improv comedy at The New Movement Theater in Austin, TX, and is a very excellent speller.
